Well, not really a blizzard, but there’s a lot of friggin snow coming down and it’s not going anywhere for a while. This Florida boy thinks it’s pretty cool. Literally. Walking around this morning, Portland felt more like Colorado or somewhere in the northeast.

I am a HUGE fan of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road. I couldn’t put it down. I don’t know why, but next to revenge movies, my favorites are “end of the world”, “last person on earth” type films. So this story was right up my alley. The whole time reading it, I was thinking that this would make a perfect movie. Not too long afterwards, I found out that it was being made and even partially filmed in this general area!(Mt St. Helens) John Hillcoat(The Proposition) is the director and stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron.
